Dalian municipality, in Liaoning Province, is on the Liaodong Peninsula. Dalian, Anshan, Benxi and Huludao are the major cities of the province.

Dalian's fertile soil produces the outstanding crops and fruits. It is famous for its acquit-products-cultivation and deep-sea fishing. The prawns, sea-cucumber, abalone, scallop are well-known throughout China and abroad. Its apples, peaches, pears, and grapes have a excellent reputation for their color, shape and taste.

Industry Dalian, is an ice-free very busy commercial port for industrialized northeastern China. Dalian is a harbor city, rich in fishery and industrial products.  It is the leading petroleum-exporting point for the productive Daqing oil field. It can accommodate supertankers and has large shipyards. The manufactory/Processing include refined petroleum, chemicals, fertilizer, machinery, iron and steel, and transportation equipment.

Minerals The region is rich in mineral resources with 35 proven minerals. The verified iron ore reserve is 10 billion tons, magnesia tops 2.3 billion tons, accounting for one fourth of the world’s total. Talcum reserve stands at 60 million tons. Jade mine verified reserve hits 2.06 million tons, which is of high-quality, fine-grained, pure and colorful jade. And plus high quality marble, limestone and granite and much of relatively resources of lead, zinc, copper, gold, cobalt, silica, asbestos, fluorite, vermiculite, white mica, barite, boron, clay minerals and petroleum.
