Wuhan
 

Wuhan is the capital of Hubei Province. It is the largest city in Central China, located on two rivers of the Yangtze and Hanshui. The city has a population of 7.3 million and area of 8,467 sq km. Wuhan is the economy, culture and political center for central China. Wuhan is one of the top 10 top ranking city in China.

Hankou, one of the 3 towns that compose WuhanWuhan ranks third in China in the field of Science and Technology with 500 research institutes and universities.

Industry   Wuhan has 4 pillar industries: metallurgy, automobiles, machinery and high-tech. others include textiles, plastics and ship-building.

Finance   Wuhan is the largest financial and commercial center in Central China. More than 2,000 financial estates are in savings and capital financing, issuing and exchange of stocks and bonds. Both state and private-run commercial enterprises make Wuhan a flourishing market.

Transportation  Wuhan is known as "Thoroughfare to Nine Provinces" because its location. Wuhan is a major transport and communication center. Wuhan has two airports, two international harbours, several national railways and highways making Wuhan a nature transport hub.

Wuhan is an open city like Shanghai. Many foreign enterprises made investments on joint-ventures in  Wuhan.  

Tourism  Wuhan is rich in culture and history. Famous scenic spots in Wuhan include Yellow Crane Tower, Guiyuan Temple, East Lake.
