In 1992, Goldfair pioneered a sales network selling 'Gift Redemption Coupons' to oversea Chinese thus allowing their relatives in China to redeem gifts from the leading department stores in most major Chinese cities. In October 1977, the president of the company, Mr. Dick YIP, delivered a series of lectures in China. The lectures on advising enterprises to modernize and targeting exports were held in the Grandiose Beijing People's Hall, the Beijing Jing Feng Hotel and the Jiamusi People's Congress Hall in the Province of Heilongjiang to hundreds of local Chinese entrepreneurs, who responded enthusiastically.
